The progress of my webquest

Webquest…..

This project has been much harder than I thought that it would be. I have had many challenges and struggles trying to get everything to work properly. I have been spending my day today trying to get my webquest to let me put pictures in and it has been very frustrating. I have also spent quite a bit of time trying to figure out how I am going to do the evaluation page as well.

What I am doing for my webquest is how to adopt an animal from a shelter. I fell that although my students might not care about pets, the ones that will I feel will enjoy this. I also think that because students have never done this kind of thing by themselves, there are many questions that they can ask that they would not already know the answer to.

Some of the things that I have finished are the way that I would like it to look as far as the tool bars and stuff. I have also finished the title page and have a general concept that needs to be worked on a little to make it sound better so my students can have a better understanding.

Some of the things that I would like to add would be the pictures. I still need to go and get pictures of animals at shelters so that I can make stuff on my webquest relate better to the content.

I have had a very hard time on this project and I am glad that it is almost over. I feel that this is a great way to show other teachers your idea on the web and I feel that I will use this site after we are finished with the class. I am glad that I have had a chance to experience new technology and things that are on the web.

Webquest Idea

This is going to be all about my Webquest and my idea to make a fun lesson for a business ROP which is for high school students.

I want my students to do a lesson on how to promote animal adoptions through networking with different companies to help host adoption drives.

The final part of the projects that my students will do as a group is to set up a real or fake drive to help students see that hard work can lead to success and having business connections is important. My students will be able to show me by using pictures or a type of technology how they would/did make a successful drive.
